Included in a Tour
2018 TOURS: Storm chasing tours include 6 or 10 days of storm chasing, 5 or 9 nights of lodging, and ground transportation during the tour. You will need to book and pay for your own hotel room for both the night of your arrival and the last night of your tour as it is not included in the tour price. All other nights between are included. Hotel details will be furnished during the reservations process on this website and your independent hotel reservations should be made as soon as you send your deposit in for a storm chasing tour.
Deposit
A non-refundable $1000 per person fee is required to reserve your place on a tour. The remaining balance, the full tour fee minus the deposit fee you've paid, is due via mail by April 1st, 2018.
Payment
Full payment is now required at the time of booking for any remaining 2018 tour. PLEASE EMAIL US before booking a 2018 tour to obtain information on how to send your full payment.
Refunds
We cannot refund your deposit for any reason and the those funds cannot be used for the next year's tours. No exceptions! No refunds! Do not book until you are sure.
Hotels
In order to keep our prices down we stay in hotels like Super 8, Americas Best Value Inn, Days Inn, Motel 6 and other similar lodgings in this price range. In more remote parts of Tornado Alley we might need to stay at a mom-and-pop type of hotel. When chasing you're in Tornado Alley, not New York City! A 4 or 5-star hotel simply isn't going to happen. Tornado Alley is farmland and you may, from time to time, find bugs in your hotel rooms. If this makes you uncomfortable then this tour isn't for you. We always try to find hotels that are in the path of the severe storms, which allows us to see an evening lightning show at the hotel from time to time. Please be aware that most hotels we stay at don't have elevators, so make sure you are able to carry your bag and belongings up flights of stairs.
Flights
Airfare is not included with a storm chasing tour. Please make sure you are selecting the correct year of your tour and the correct dates when booking flights. Search for your airfare now, click here.
Gift Certificates
Get a Storm Chasing Adventure Tours gift certificate! They're great gifts for Christmas, anniversaries, birthdays, and graduations. Print out your gift certificate by clicking here. Be sure to fill out the name of the person who will receive the certificate and go on a storm chasing tour. After printing, you MUST pay the deposit for a tour by completing Step 2 of the reservation process for the certificate to be valid. The remainder of the tour fee, payable by personal check, cashier's check, or money order, is still due by mail by April 1st, 2018 (see Payment above). The recipient will then need to complete Step 1 of the reservation process in their name and indicate that they received a gift certificate in the "discounts or coupons" box when booking.
